Jeff started his career in Crash Reconstruction while employed at the Erie County Sheriff's Office in Buffalo, New York.  During his course of employment with the Sheriff's Office he was involved in the investigation of numerous "high profile" cases involving motor vehicle collisions and reconstructions.

After his retirement with the Sheriff's Office, Jeff began to work in the private sector for a local company completing reconstructions for prominent local attorneys and insurance companies.  Jeff later began Annscott Consulting Services, LLC.
